It is with deep regret that RMS announces the passing of Paul Merrick on April 17, 2014. We have lost a dear friend and valued colleague. Each of us not only grieves at the passing of a tremendous individual, but also for the loss his family suffers. Paul will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by his RMS family for all of the good times and all he has done for RMS over the years. He was a mentor, friend, coworker and last but certainly not least, a man who seldom encountered an industry machine that he could not repair. He even designed a correction to a major flaw in a machine design that affected its durability, which was adapted by the manufacturer. We will miss him greatly, but are very thankful to have had the privilege to work with and know him.

A very nice remembrance of Paul. He was a fine man who was certainly very giving of his time and expertise to everyone around him and I will certainly remember him fondly for the time and help he gave me along the way.
