Riley Maintenance Systems Q3 2026 Environmental Impact Report highlighting key metrics: 50 trees saved, 51 lbs of plastic avoided, 88 kg of carbon avoided, 11,305 gallons of water saved, and 5,685 lbs of landfill diverted.

At Riley Maintenance Systems, sustainability is a commitment we measure every quarter, not just a word on a label. That is why we are proud to share the results of our Q3 2026 Environmental Impact Report, powered by our partner Emerald Ecovations, a Division of Paradigm.

This quarter, the Emerald Ecovations products we provided to our clients kept making a measurable difference. Here is what that looked like from July through September 2026.

50 Trees Saved

By providing Tree-Free™ products to our clients, we helped spare 50 trees from being cut down to make everyday paper goods. Healthy forests mean cleaner air, wildlife habitat, and a more stable climate, so every tree left standing counts.

51 LBs of Plastic Avoided

Bioplastic cutlery and liners made from renewable resources kept 51 pounds of conventional plastic out of our oceans and landfills this quarter. Choosing smarter materials is one of the most direct ways to cut down on plastic pollution.

88 KG of Carbon Avoided

Our clients’ product choices helped keep 88 kilograms of carbon out of the atmosphere this quarter. Lower emissions help slow climate change, improve air quality, and protect biodiversity.

11,305 Gallons of Water Saved

By reducing water use in the supply chain, we helped conserve 11,305 gallons of fresh water from July through September. That is real relief for the rivers, lakes, and ecosystems that depend on it.

5,685 LBs of Landfill Diverted

Our commercially compostable products are designed to break down in commercial composting facilities or bio digesting systems. This quarter, that added up to 5,685 pounds of material kept out of landfills. This figure assumes the products are composted, either through a local program or the Emerald Ecovations Cradle to Cradle Composting System.

Why This Matters

These results come from the Emerald Ecovations product line: Tree-Free™, plastic-free, toxin-free, and commercially compostable cups, lids, towels, tissue, plates, bowls, take-out containers, and cutlery. Emerald’s environmental calculator uses a methodology developed by an independent third-party organization, so the numbers are grounded in a consistent, outside standard.

By distributing these products to our clients this quarter, we collectively contributed to:

  • Reducing deforestation
  • Protecting ocean habitats
  • Reducing air pollution
  • Protecting water supplies
  • Reducing methane emissions

A Commitment That Continues

Q3 2026 is the next chapter in an ongoing story. We are proud of what these numbers represent, and even more motivated by where they point: a future where the products our clients rely on do not come at the planet’s expense.
